Sarah Böck specializes in arbitration and litigation, with a particular focus on multi-jurisdictional disputes. She acts as both counsel and arbitrator in international arbitration proceedings, amongst others under the ICC, LCIA, and Vienna Rules and involving the procedural and substantive laws of a range of different jurisdictions. She has particular experience in handling interconnected disputes litigated in parallel proceedings in several jurisdictions, including as client liaison, coordinating counsel, and/or co-counsel in such cases.
On the substantive level, Sarah Böck is recognized for her work on a number of complex multi-jurisdictional arbitrations and litigations in the (re-)insurance and finance sectors. She also has considerable experience in representing clients in distribution and dealership cases, engineering and construction projects, and post-M&A disputes. In addition, she regularly assists clients in structuring, drafting, and negotiating the contractual framework for their international business projects.
Sarah Böck has co-authored and contributed to several publications in the field of dispute resolution and is a member of various international arbitration associations. Before joining Peters Ortner Partners, she acquired in-depth experience working for law firms in Vienna with an international focus, including eight years in an international arbitration boutique.
Sarah Böck completed her studies in Vienna and London and is admitted to the Vienna bar. She is also a CEDR-accredited mediator.
