THE RULE OF LAW IN INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION – A PUBLICATION BY HELMUT ORTNER AND MARTIN HACKL

Our partners Helmut Ortner and Martin Hackl have published an article on “The Rule of Law in international Commercial Arbitration” in the a special edition of the ZEuS (Journal for Studies on European Law).

The article discusses the ways in which international commercial arbitration secures the rule of law for complex international cross-border disputes – and fortifies it in a way that is superior to what the state court system can do. It also examines how counsel and arbitrators in the sphere of international commercial arbitration can ensure that this competitive advantage is realized in practice.
